    Lesson Schedule:

Each student gets one lesson per cycle. Please check your lesson schedule to see when your next lesson is.

  • Instruments should be kept in a cool, dry, safe place and should only be used by the student learning the instrument. Parents can help the student set up, too! Each student should have access to a music stand (folding music stands are ok and convenient).

  • Each student should practice for 10-15 minutes each evening after school, and once on the weekend for about 15 minutes. This will ensure that students are training their muscles to play the instrument efficiently and correctly. Consistency is really important when learning an instrument.

  • 4th and 5th grade orchestra (Concert Orchestra) has already started. Concerts will take place in January and June. Students will be receiving repertoire during the next few rehearsals. 3rd grade orchestra (Beginner Orchestra) will start in January. A concert will take place in June. Students will be receiving repertoire, as well as a schedule, in January.

All orchestra students will need to bring a pencil and a folder to all rehearsals. Sheet music will be handed out at rehearsal.

  • Please contact Mr. Vannoni for a list of private instrumental lesson teachers in the area. Private lessons are not necessary but are a terrific way to enhance your child’s musical experience!

Private instrumental lessons are not required but they are a way to grow musically and technically on your instrument.
