Mandalay is in full holiday mode with special performances from the Wantagh High School Music Department who stopped by beginning the wind down to winter break.

The Chamber Orchestra, Brass Ensemble, and Onora le Voci (honors chorus) held an early morning holiday concert featuring musical favorites. One song in particular echoed through the auditorium as students began singing “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” along with the Chamber Orchestra bringing smiles to each face in the room.

A favorite tradition continued this year with students being greeted by the Mandalay chorus singing a medley of holiday favorites during morning arrival.

As the chorus sang, students were also greeted by Mr. and Mrs. Claus sitting atop the rooftop waving as busses and walkers arrived for the day.

The PTA finished off the morning as students were handing cookies in a cup as they entered the building just before heading to class.
